How To Download Games To PSP

A PSP is a wonderful thing, but it can be even better. If you are lucky enough to have a version 3.50 or lower you can customize it and then download and play most any PSP game.

You may be wondering why it matters what version of PSP you have. Well, something you need to know is that in order to play downloaded games you need to downgrade your firmware version and then upgrade to a custom version that will allow you to play downloaded games. You see, you can't just take a PSP out of the box, download a game from the internet, and play it.

The most important thing about the downgrading process is knowing which software to use, which steps to take, and the correct order. Different versions need to follow different procedures and use different software.

Once you have downgraded you can then download games and put them on your PSP as follows:

1. Unzip the game files and save them somewhere that you can find them easily, like your desktop.

2. Plug your PSP USB cable into your PSP and your computer.

3. For PSP games- go the the root directory on your PSP then make a folder called ISO. (If you downloaded PSOne games, go to the root directory on your PSP and find the folder called PSP/GAME.)

4. Copy the PSP game files into the ISO folder. (Copy PSOne game files into the PSP/GAME folder.)

That's it! You can now play your games and have fun!

If you want to find downloadable games easily just join a membership site. A one time fee at a good download service will give you unlimited access to all the latest games, videos, movies, music, and more for your PSP.
